In reply to: [Read More Excerpt Link] learn more links showing at top of pageOkay, for starters, you can still use the “Woocommerce Social Media Share Buttons”. Just uncheck the Open Graph Settings from the Share Buttons menu. I don’t think you need this anyway with Yoast SEO installed as that’s already adding all the Open Graph stuff already and checking this box adds it twice.

In reply to: [Read More Excerpt Link] learn more links showing at top of pageI’ll look into this “Woocommerce Social Media Share Buttons” plugin and see what it is doing differently than the other open graph plugins that work without a problem. It’s obvious that they’re not escaping the string correctly which I can suggest to the author. There could be something else once I look into it more.
Glad it’s at least sorted out as a conflict. Now I’d like to figure out how to allow them to play nice with each other. If there’s this conflict, there’s probably another. So, solving this one could fix many other problems as well.

In reply to: [Read More Excerpt Link] learn more links showing at top of pageIt’s not the Yoast SEO nor Fuse Social Floating Sidebar. I installed both of those and they cooperate well. It seems you have another social media plugin that’s duplicating what Yoast SEO is already doing. And this other plugin is causing the problem. It starts with <!– Open Graph data –> in your HTML markup. I tried the plugins “Open Graph Protocol” and “Facebook Open Graph, Google+ and Twitter Card Tags” and those don’t appear to be the one you are using. They work just fine with Read More Excerpt, but don’t do the <!– Open Graph data –> comment in the HTML markup.

In reply to: [Read More Excerpt Link] learn more links showing at top of pageThere’s something else really strange going on with your site. When I use browser developer tools it shows all kinds of meta and header information in the body. And that’s also where these extra “Leer más” are coming from.
As I don’t have any problem using that theme with the Read More Excerpt plugin, my guess is that there’s another plugin that’s causing some strange problems and the Read More Excerpt plugin is just highlighting an existing problem.
If you look at the developer tools, you’ll see the <body>, followed by meta icon, script, and other stuff that should be in the head. There’s a twitter:description and Google+ itemprop description which must be accessing the WordPress “excerpt” command. Of course, when they do this, they’ll also get the link to the full document because Read More Excerpt is adding the link.
Basically, it seems that whatever plugin you’re using for the Twitter and Google+ descriptions are conflicting with Read More Excerpt. If you could let me know the social media plugin you’re using that would allow me to track this down.

In reply to: [Read More Excerpt Link] learn more links showing at top of pageYou don’t enter a link in the excerpt field. That’s probably why it’s not working. Change your excerpt to “Porque ellas se lo merecen más que nadie. Tú escoges los artículos y nosotros te lo ponemos así de bonito.” instead and then turn on the Read More Excerpt plugin.

In reply to: [Stone HTML Compressor] Plugin compatabilitySorry, wasn’t meant to be that way. It seemed that there are problems with minify plugins causing problems with other plugins so I was aiming to find out if it was working for Bryan Willis. He also requested a feature for my plugin (that I added) which is how I came here.
Anyway, didn’t mean to offend.

In reply to: [WP Popular Posts] Breaks with HTML minificationI tested the WordPress Popular Posts plugin with my Minify HTML plugin and it appears to work just fine. You may want to give Minify HTML a try instead.

In reply to: [Stone HTML Compressor] Plugin compatabilityI’m not sure what’s different, but WordPress Popular Posts plugin works just fine with my Minify HTML plugin.

In reply to: [Read More Excerpt Link] learn more links showing at top of pageI can’t duplicate the problem. I tried the post without an excerpt, with an excerpt, without a read more tag in the post and with a read more tag in the post, and in all cases it worked fine with nothing odd appearing at the top.
Looking specifically at your ‘Promoción Día de la Madre’ post, are you using excerpt text and/or a read more tag in the post? If so, where in the body are you putting the read more tag?
Also, what exactly are you entering in the “Read More” Link Text field for the Read More Excerpt settings? It appears you have it set as + Leer más…

In reply to: [Read More Excerpt Link] learn more links showing at top of pageAre you using a stock theme? If so, what’s the name and website where I can download it. Strange things can happen with certain themes that re-write a lot of WordPress as normal functions no longer work. But, with the theme I could look into this for you.
