You’re right. but things got even wired.. since the header doesn’t contain the custom code of permission tracking ID from Google Analytics, why Google Analytics can sill show the website’s statistic.. And I could even use MonsterInsights to reconnect/re-verify credentials by the tracking ID..

OMG… I found that even if I purge all the cache in both Autoptimize and WP Cloudflare Super Page Cache plugins, the header of the website still contain custom code for Google Analytics.. I can’t get rid of previous, unrecoverable custom code…
Ok, thank you~
the code will be stored in the admin settings for that plugin.
Is this mean that these plugins’ code would not be affected?
I may have added custom code in Elementor – Header, Footer & Blocks plugin and maybe also other plugin..
But wp/plugin seemed to have generated some code to the theme files, would this be recovered..?
How about if the original custom code is generated by some plugins/wordpress? Would it be recovered..?

I don’t know if I used CDN.. the following is the plugin I used:
Autoptimize
Classic Editor
Cool Tag Cloud
Duplicate Page
Elementor
Elementor – Header, Footer & Blocks
Elementor Pro
Facebook for WordPress
Google Analytics for WordPress by MonsterInsights
Hide Page And Post Title
Infinite Scroll Elementor
Visualizer: Tables and Charts for WordPress
WP Cloudflare Super Page Cache
WP File Manager
wpDataTables – Tables & Table Charts
Yoast SEOI didn’t backup.. because I’ve not expected an update could cause such disaster..
I really want to find a copy of the modified header.php file now but can’t.. I’ve use WP File Manager to check by modified time, and all I could see is only the newly updated theme files get changed..
And unlike header.php, custom code in function.php is lost and not working.
