In reply to: [WP Video Lightbox] Just stopped working recently.that took care of it. Although I couldn’t find anything in that script that would change the URL. But it’s working so….

In reply to: [WP Video Lightbox] Just stopped working recently.not yet. my last resort is installing a plug-in to fix a plug-in. I’d prefer to alter the plug-in I have and make it work. But that is the last resort and I’ll be doing it next. Doing a back up quickly before I mess with theme changing.
There aren’t that many files in your plug-in. It seems like it would be easy enough to bypass detection or just tell it to always throw https. I’d just prefer you tell me where to look rather than me searching through all your code.

In reply to: [WP Video Lightbox] Just stopped working recently.I just did. turned off every plug-in in the site (and besides woo commerce there aren’t many). no go. the page still functions the same.
Perhaps I could edit your “auto detection” you just spoke about and just force all youtube calls to be https?

In reply to: [WP Video Lightbox] Just stopped working recently.I can turn off plug-ins. Although no new plug-ins have been added recently, and changing the theme is not an option. There is a lot of money invested in the customization of this theme, and the videos worked fine for a long time.
I even used the HTML version of the tag from your manual and got the same result, even when I coded in the proper link by hand.

In reply to: [WP Video Lightbox] Just stopped working recently.I used the same test and I see the call for http:.
my point is I am only using the shortcode for your plug-in.
[video_lightbox_youtube video_id=”hYfQ6USjqNk” width=”640″ height=”450″ anchor=”https://rmtcam.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/convinience.jpg” alt=”Convenience Store Monitoring in action”]
WHERE in this am I able to tell it to use a different call?? All I inserted was the size of the movie and the ID: hYfQ6USjqNk
I did not choose http: anywhere. I am asking where in the code your plug-in makes that determination and where to change it.

In reply to: [WP Video Lightbox] Just stopped working recently.also went to the video in question on youtube, to see if I could alert this. The youtube url looks like this:

So it is https. If the lightbox is not calling them as https where do I change that?

In reply to: [WP Video Lightbox] Just stopped working recently.I may not be understanding this. Where in the code is the youtube https?? for the video I only see video_lightbox_youtube video_id=”hYfQ6USjqNk”
which means all I’m using from the movie is this: hYfQ6USjqNk
the only https I have in the tag is for the thumbnail and that does work. Please, by all means, elaborate so I can fix it properly.Forum: Plugins
