Thank you for sharing the helpful discussion on StackOverflow. I solved my issue by adding the host configuration. In fact, I encountered the same problem with WordPress running on EC2, and I managed to resolve it by modifying the host settings using iptables. After reading the discussion on StackOverflow, I realized that Simply Static sends a request to its own address during static generation.
