Hi Patrick,
Great, thanks for your confirmation.
Hi Nebu,
Yes, that hides the warning. I’m also wondering whether it’d be safe to manually update the domain in the defender_scan_item table and whether that would resolve the problem, as I’d rather solve the reason for the warning instead of just hiding it:
id: 1
parent_id: 1
type: core_integrity
status: ignore
raw_data: {“file”:”\/home\/domain1\/public_html\/cgi-bin”,”type”:”dir”}- This reply was modified 7 months ago by testroger25.
Hello,
Is it already known when this problem will be resolved? Also, adding
define(‘WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY’, false);
to wp-config.php doesn’t hide the warning message. It’s still shown, as visible on the screenshot: https://ibb.co/BFRv3YH
Thank you for your time working on that.
Hi Patrick,
Thank you for your responses and sorry for the delay from my side. I’ve run the malware scan, it completed successfully but the warning message still persists. It is shown on top of the Defender Dashboard page and there is also no possibility to dismiss it. Is there a way to attach a screenshot here?
Hi Nebu,
I can confirm that both Site URL and Home URL are set to Domain2.
As for cloning, it has been done using my hosting provider’s control panel. The script has created a new database, updating relevant fields (for example the Site URL and Home URL). Nothing had to be manually updated and all the plugins worked correctly immediately after the cloning.
Ok, great. Thanks for the update and for the fix.
Great that you can reproduce this. I will be waiting for the fix. Thank you.
No, I don’t use any plugin for the language switcher. It’s just the default WordPress language switcher that is present on the login page.
