Th error was being caused by some combination of defaults for global package not being set or incorrect settings for product per parcel. It appears to be working correctly, now that we have figured that out. Thanks for your efforts, they are appreciated, Talent.

I tried version 4.2.1
The checkout page still produces the same error:
PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined method ParcelPerfectApiPayload::factorise() in /home/username/public_html/wp-content/plugins/the-courier-guy/Core/ParcelPerfectApiPayload.php:322
I too am seeing the same error on all my sites, with Rackspace.
