I guess it was this bit you must have missed:
“go to your .htaccess file and find those annoying 3 lines, remove them, then save .htaccess file”
Yup – just waiting for the plugin author to respond to my numerous emails. I thought it would be courteous to allow him to respond before forking his plugin.
I’m having the same problem! Have you had any success in fixing it?
I attached a screenshot of the facebook developer page to my email as well. If you had taken a look at it, you will see that the settings are all entered correctly.
I will send you another one now, of the “edit” page on FB.
Again: we followed the instructions *exactly* and the plugin will not authenticate.
