In reply to: Warning / Error after 4.0 updateYes.. I updated the Simple Press plugin and the error was fixed. The older SP plugin version was not compatible with the newer version of WP. (The documentation on the plugin pages always say “Compatible up to” That is not always the case.
I got this same error / problem had shared hosted server (1and1) on destination server set to php 5.5 – same fail 4 times.. set php one version back to 5.4

In reply to: Warning / Error after 4.0 updateI have backups.. but would rather find a direct fix instead of reinstalling the DB, WP and all plugins..
I narrowed it down to the forum plugin I use.. simple press.. no other WP pages are affected and my DB is intact.. I googled the warning message and discovered that all sites that come up in the search are running the SP forum plugin.. So I have contacted the developer.

here is the line in the code..
