Hi Georgian,
I do have the default registration disabled but I don’t think I have the login itself disabled.
I may have a plugin installed but not activated. For instance, I still can use the wp-admin page to login.
The problem has stopped since I disabled a few add-ins, cleared cache, and then re-enabled every add-in again. I have not removed any add-ins. So maybe it’s a cache issue, I don’t know.
Even though it’s working ok right now do you still want to look around?Terence
I am also having this exact issue, and the second log-in related issue with the plugin in the last couple weeks, which I had a ticket opened for.
I tried clearing cache and hasn’t helped. For the last issue I disabled all plugins and it seemed to be related to a caching plugin in, which I replaced. It was fine for a week or so and now this is happening.
I was seriously considering purchasing the Hobbyist version of the plugin, but if if these issues persist I will have to rethink. I don’t necessarily have time to trouble shoot the plugin for login issues multiple times.
I would really like to hide the default WordPress login page but as of now, I can’t get into the site using Profile Builder login.
Please advise. I like the plugin a lot and would love to keep using it.Terence Glynn
Hi Nastia,
Thank you for the response.
I was able to locate the table and remove my test email addresses.
However, once I tried to test the opt-in again with those addresses, I still received the message that the emails were already subscribed, and they were re-added to the table, and no emails were sent as if they were new sign ups.
In addition to removing these entries in this table, is there something else that needs to be done in order to have the plugin see the emails addresses as “new” once they are removed from the table? Thanks again,
Terence
