In reply to: [Widgets on Pages] Adding new sidebar kills first sidebarI am using: [widgets_on_pages id=”Picture Galleries”] as the shortcode for the first widget I created.
I was using: [widgets_on_pages id=”Testimonials”] as the shortcode for the second widget I added, but I have since removed that widget as the client wants a different look.
Yet, the shortcode for “Picture Galleries” doesn’t work anymore.

In reply to: [Widgets on Pages] Widget is not wide enoughI just deleted the “Pictures” page, where I used the first widget-on-pages and rebuilt the page. But that didn’t fix anything either. I also made sure there were no other plugins active other then the WooSlider on the home page.
I’ve also deleted the testimonial widget I placed on the home page, which I set up after adding another “sidebar” in the WFP control settings.
Any thoughts?

In reply to: [Widgets on Pages] Widget is not wide enoughYea, I added another Widget For Pages, and that seemed to break that page..
I get the feeling I have to create all the Widgets I plan to use at the same time or the WFP plugin doesntrwork. I’m baffled.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Dynamic Widgets] Will Dynamic Widgets work with "Unsigned" theme? No, it properly sees the “Home” page as the Front page in the DW settings.
In WP settings I have “Posts” set to the Blog page. Which I did to eliminate the Comment fields on every page, which still appear despite this setting.

In reply to: [Dynamic Widgets] Will Dynamic Widgets work with "Unsigned" theme?Hi Qurl,
Well, it almost works the way I want. In the DW settings, I went to the “Pages” setting to limit the widget to one page. However, it’s not “seeing” my Blog page. The Blog page is not showing in the list of what pages to exclude the widget from. Why isn’t it seeing my Blog page. Is it because I’m using the “blog” template for the Blog page?

In reply to: How do I work on and see WordPress site while index.html is active?Myself and my client uses Bluehost for hosting. I cannot find the “.htaccess” file.
Also, I moved the WP files over to the new subdirectory, and it broke the login. So, I installed WP in the new directory and tried moving the content over but it still breaks everything.
It still doesn’t allow me to change the WP url to indicate the new folder/ subdirectory. It still logs me out when I press “Save Changes”.

In reply to: How do I work on and see WordPress site while index.html is active?Do I copy the “wp-content” folder into the new directory? Or will that break it?
What’s the best way to move the content into the new folder?Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: How do I work on and see WordPress site while index.html is active?Well, I created the new folder. I went to the General settings to changed the URLs. But when I clicked “Save Changes”, I was logged out instead of the changes being accepted. When I logged back in, nothing was changed. I tried a few more times with the same result.
I’m installing WP in the new folder. Maybe it wouldn’t accept the URL change because the directory didn’t exist, yet? I’ll post the results.

In reply to: WordPress interface changed with site changesI’m using the “Canvas” theme from WooThemes. And I’m changing the colors of the background and the text from the Canvas theme controls.
I guess I have to write them for the answer. But, it is strange.

In reply to: Can I play mp3 without Space Upgrade? No worries.
Still can’t get the WP Music Player to work. Is there a direct email contact to WP.org?
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Can I play mp3 without Space Upgrade?I definitely have a ORG site, because I installed WP from within my server, hosted by Bluehost. I just checked at COM support.
I have recently uploaded and installed WP Music Player. It acknowledges when an mp3 has been uploaded by showing the upload as complete with the title. But when I go to the Song List page, nothing shows.
Thanks.
