Alright, I’ll ask it another way… what wordpress version should I downgrade to, to get this theme working? I cannot find another theme like The Columnist.

I forgot to say, it works fine in other themes.
Would there be a code that someone has to address this? Would copying the feature or header code here be helpful?

Oh, I guess there is nothing wrong with the header as it is a fresh install and the title info works fine previewed in other themes- perhaps just a compatibility issue with latest WP, as this is an older theme now.
Does anyone know why the latest blog post would usurp this space?
