  • Hello again,

I’m happy to report that I solved my own problem. The solution was to add a <div> around the YOP poll shortcode when embedding. Apparently, the scoped CSS was not being applied because of the parent <div>. Strange that this only showed up in Firefox. It took a while to fix, but I’m glad it was so easy.

If the plugin authors are reading this, I might suggest having a parent <div> added by default. Add one that would contain the scoped CSS. That will solve this problem in Firefox and probably won’t cause any problems elsewhere.

Again, I’m on the latest version of Firefox, version 43.0.1.

    Hi there,

I’m having the same problem, I believe. The theme styles appear to load in all browsers – Chrome, IE, Firefox – but they don’t seem to work, or take effect, in Firefox. I’m not sure what’s happening.

I can see that the <style scope> block is being added to the <body>. I also tried to add the exact same styles to the <head> of the page. Neither of these things worked. The styles are appearing, but they are not being applied for some reason.

I updated Firefox to the latest version. That didn’t help.

I first encountered this problem using a custom theme. But then I tried many of the default, simple, installed themes. Same problem. None of them appear to work in Firefox.

I’m stumped and would love any ideas.

Thanks for great plugin, by the way! I’ve been experimenting with it for a few weeks, and this is the only critical issue I’ve encountered. I upgraded to the pro version and have been liking all the options, especially the video embed feature.
