In reply to: [Google AdSense for Responsive Design - GARD] Inquiry the featureThe free version solves this. The thing is you’re trying to resize your browser to see the ads change, it won’t work that way. Devices don’t change the window size, they just load it at a smaller size, so first you must resize your window smaller, then reload the page.
If you do this and you have set up GARD right, it’ll pick the smaller size to show because the screen width is smaller. CSS media selectors won’t help here.

In reply to: [Google AdSense for Responsive Design - GARD] No clear instructionsThe “real” code from google gets the width of the entire screen, which is flawed for ad placement in wordpress posts. At least that’s what the code did originally.
Our code grabs the width of the page element (post area for example) and gets the widest ad that you define for that area, which is much more flexible than googles code.
There are two modes, advanced, where you can put your slugs in (keeping your channel tracking) or basic mode, which is where you simply check some boxes, and the plugin does the rest, we offer both methods.
Yes, we want to sell our pro version, as I’m a human like you, trying to run a business and work for myself, so I’m offering a product to help others make money, and trying to make money myself.
Rather than a 1 star review, you could have asked for support. You must first uninstall GARD (the free one), then upload and install the paid one. All your settings are retained.
I believe I did help you via email, and sent you numerous personal emails walking you through the setup process. Was something left out?

In reply to: [Google AdSense for Responsive Design - GARD] Pricing Error?Fixed.
Can you link me to a page with errors so I can see what’s going on?
Sorry, I just found your question. http://thepluginfactory.co/warehouse/gard-pro/ will allow you to auto insert GARD in to all old posts. If you’re using the free version, you would have to know PHP website coding to get it on your website yourself.

In reply to: [Google AdSense for Responsive Design - GARD] Very time saving and reliable. Thanks! The detection of mobile vs desktop is done on the user agent, so on the rare occasion that you see the wrong ad, it’s probably something related to the browser you’re using.
I’ll be updating the list of browser user agents in the coming months. Thanks for the review!

In reply to: [Google AdSense for Responsive Design - GARD] GARD is breaking BBpressThanks demonboy for the kind words. The main reason I like our forums is for the private messaging and emails on new threads. I often login to users sites and fix problems, so I need their login info, which can’t be posted publicly.
I do understand why most users look here for support, so I check these posts a few times a month 🙂
Great, thanks demonboy! I’ll be around for help if you do decide to upgrade to GARD Pro. Thanks for the review!

In reply to: [Google AdSense for Responsive Design - GARD] GARD is breaking BBpressOh, it’s not that you’re hiding anything. It’s usually think like admin access requests, usernames, and passwords.
You did explain it clear. In my plugin, and on the page here at wordpress, I send users to the forums for support. There are many threads there, which is why I like everything in one place.
Can you try the “user role editor” mentioned in the link below and see if that helps?
