Here’s a screenshot of what it looks when one is not logged in:

If I accepted the defaults in the the Appearance -Menus, when one logs in, this is what they’ll see:

Note that Login / Logout menu items behave just fine. It’s the other items that aren’t behaving right. The other menus items disappear because those items have this ticked by default as shown in the admin page here:

I MUST uncheck “Not Logged In” for every menu item where I want it to be available irrespective of whether one is logged in or not. That’s a PITA. Every time I return to the admin page, all menu items have that checkbox ticked by default. Therefore I must go through each and every menu item and uncheck “Not Logged In” for items that need to be visible regardless of whether one is logged in or not.
Hopefully it’s because I’m doing something wrong and there’s easier way to manage that.
