In reply to: [Site Reviews] Hide Title of site_reviews_summaryBTW, this is my current shortcode setup
[site_reviews_summary title=”Article Rating” hide=”if_empty”]
Is there a command that I could add to my code to hide the title if empty?
Something like hide_title=”if_empty”? I tried adding that this to the shortcode, but it didn’t do anything.
Hello @hchouhan
Thank you very much for looking into this all 🙂
Please let me know if you need anything else from me. I will keep tabs on the github support ticket.
Cheers.
I might have solved the icon issue by utilizing the “Favicon by RealFaviconGenerator” WP plugin. I just had the plugin take my existing icon image and make it different and responsive across 4 different platforms (IOS, Windows, Android & Desktop). I guess I can live with this solution for the icon problem, although installing an additional plugin just for this sucks since it can slow down the site. If you still happen to know of some code that would prevent the Amazon Product plugin from messing with the site icon, I would rather go in that direction.
As for the logo issue, I could not find a plugin that would work (tried like 10 of them). No idea what to do about that issue.
Hello @prophecy2040
Thank you very much for chiming in 🙂
So, I did try your code in my functions.php file and it unfortunately did not work, I did not see any changes. I cleared all cache numerous times, opened the site in incognito and private windows via both Chrome and Firefox, problem persists.
Also as mentioned previously, the featured image replaces the logo as well as site icon. The code and fix that you are suggesting definitely sounds like we are getting closer to the solution, but the issue is still present unfortunately.
Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Fair enough, I guess I’ll try to figure it out on my own.
Thanks.
I also disabled every single one of my plugins to see if it is one of them. This did not fix the issue. The problem seems to be with the “Amazon Product in a Post” plugin somewhere. In addition to my site, I can see that somebody else is having a similar problem with their favicons here (the featured images replace favicon on all pages): https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/weird-favicon-issue/
Thanks for the reply izreview. So I did change my theme and deleted all cache, still seeing the same issue even with Neve.
Hi there, thanks for replying and sorry for the super late reply. I really don’t feel comfortable swapping out my theme as I have done so in the past for different issues and it ended up screwing things up (theme settings, layout, custom design stuff, CSS code, etc..) once I brought the original theme back in. Is this the only thing that you could think of, that it is my theme? Because I have the pro version of my theme and the GeneratePress support team said that the issue is with the plugin, and not the theme.
Do you have any other ideas by chance?
Hello, could I please get some help? The issue is also now happening with featured images attached to the similar posts that are listed at the bottom of the page. Your plug-in pretty much replaced my logo, icon and all similar posts featured images on the particular page. (featured images).
This happens on every single one of my posts. Whatever the chosen featured image for a particular post, that image will replace all other “featured images” on that post page as well as my logo and icon image.
I use the Generatepress theme btw. Is there any way to resolve this?
Thanks ahead for looking.

Hello Adam,
Thank you for your reply and for the suggestions. Here are some of the things that I tried. Also including my replies to your inquiries.
1. This issue has been happening from the start.
2. No errors on aWeber’s side.
3. I had some caching running across the site; page caching, browser caching etc.. I have disabled all of those and will run another test tomorrow. As far as server caching, there isn’t any enabled on my sites (according to my hosting company).
4. Today, I upgraded my PHP to the latest version that my host provides, v7.4.
5. I installed WP Control and saw the following for the “hustle_aweber_token_refresh”.
Hook: hustle_aweber_token_refresh
Arguments: None
Next Run: 2020-07-27 14:26:11 44 minutes 37 seconds
Action: !None
Recurrence: Once HourlyThe Action column has a big exclamation mark next to it, not sure if this is normal, broken or if it is functioning as intended?
Anyhow, I did click the “run now” button within WP control to see if I could break the integration, but after doing so the integration seemed to still be fine.
Please let me know if any other suggestions?
Thank you,
TheLearnedOne
