Was told to restore whole site from the back up which lost all trace of posts and media. I now have only the theme, still perfectly customized, and nothing else.

Thanks for that – I found the login/pword in the config file.Let’s see if that works – my only concern is that the backup file in dropbox isn’t helpful as it seems to have backed up AFTER the problem occurred. IT’s processing now – will see what happens…

In reply to: Restore from WPb2DI appreciate your getting back to me so quickly. I am, however at sea with this. I have no idea what phpmyadmin is or how to use it – way above my abilities.
I really need some simple step-by-step help. Even more simple than the suggested link. It says to login to phpmyadmin and that’s as far as I get – NO idea how to do that.
