How do I go about properly de-enqueuing the fonts in the functions.php file so I can request them in the header?
I’ve tried simply removing the scripts but the fonts won’t load with the new tag in the header. Stuck.

Where are you seeing that? Disabling Photon removed all image optimization and Pagespeed has bottomed out my score.
Ok, I figured it out. i0.wp.com/studshooter.com is related to jetpack setting photon. apparently is automatically optimizing images. i’ve disabled it and flushed the cache
Could this be an issue from importing from ww.wp.xz.cn to self hosted?
