In reply to: [Invite Anyone] [Plugin: Invite Anyone] Feature request : Adding DKIMMiss-placed request particularly as it is not needed! – installing Configure SMTP routes mail through the SMTP server rather than phpMail…
Install another plugin – Configure SMTP – this allows you to set the ‘from email address’
Also because it uses SMTP it will now USE DKIM

In reply to: [Secure Invites] [Plugin: Secure Invites] Not compatible with BuddypressSame problem – another user has said that they ‘had to reinstall the plugin for the options to show up’.
Not worked for me so far.
I’m currently testing with BuddyPress Private Community.
It seems to work well with Invite Anyone –
You just set the url ‘/register/accept-invitation/*’ as an allowed url in the config file.
Agh, that is part of the bp core template, so best not to mess with it.
Could I extend that template somehow so that the core could be updated but I could define a new conditional tag so that I could exclude the accept invitation registration page?
I’m not a developer so please be kind and read the intent behind the question!
TIA
All working – the answer should anyone be interested is to be patient – I was working on a website that had not yet had hosting records propagated – I had altered my hosts file to ‘fool’ my browser to the right ip address, but of course the redirection would not work.
