I have a query though, regarding the last paragraph from your post:
“If one is found, it indicates the current post is either the first or last, in which case you need to fill in the appropriate values for the looped post, returning the revised array.”
Does “the appropriate values” mean that I’ll need to use a template tag? If yes, which template tag would be appropriate for my requirement here?

I found a plugin called Loop Post Navigation Links that does what I want, but I like the JJ WP Easy Navigation plugin for the features it provides.
I’m no plugin hack maestro. How do I go about it? How do I implement the loop feature in the JJ WP Easy Navigation plugin?
