Solved.
I found out it was the email server that caused the delay. I’m using the Postman SMTP server plugin which had trouble talking to the email server. I updated it so that it uses the Gmail email server instead.

Thank you for your response. I have already enabled the External Style Sheet CSS and this has helped me with the other elements on the form.
I would like to know how to wrap a DIV tag around the Captcha part of the form please, e.g. <div id=”captcha-elements”>. This will help me position the captcha elements on the page, like the Captcha error DIV.
