Which code snippet did you use? I did this at one point, but it came back. :/
I’ve been trying to figure out how to disable that feature all together.I did it at one point with the help of the theme developer. It came back with an update.
But he’s no longer responding to requests for support.

Unsure if this provides any additional information, but it looks like the template front-page is not selectable in the WP quick-edit when I select the drop down. Should this be showing the theme templates?
Did you get this resolved? I’m having the exact same issue. And it looks like also with a blockify template (from your screenshot).
