And the problem is solved. Without doing anything. Just as suddenly as it happened, it got solved.

This is what I did –

Deleted the “test” child-taxonomy (in my last screenshot). It got deleted and the entire list appeared in properly nested form.

I don’t know how to explain this. But I am happy that it is solved.

I turned off ALL plugins. I turned off even the theme. I just turned on CPTUI. The result remains the same. The child taxonomies just doesn’t show in the list. It appears fine in the Edit article page though…

I have added taxonomy Cancer. (No parent)

Then, I added Liver Cancer and chose Cancer as parent.

Isn’t that how I am supposed to do it?
