In reply to: Cookie Error when Logging InI have discussed it with my web host. Fairly easy because I am my web host.
While I do apprciate suggestions such as “check with your web host,” please keep in mind that this isn’t an install or plugin issue, but a problem created by the core code being the only thing modified, causing the previously working install to fail.
It’s a matter of us needing to know *what* to talk about to our web host (or ouselves in my own case) in order for us to fix a problem someone else made for us.

In reply to: [Cookillian] Login problem after upgrade to 3.7.1I’m now having exactly the same issues; a site that was working perfectly prior to the update now issues the “Error: Cookies are disabled or…” message whenever *anyone* tries to log on. (Site is http://www.greenlandgown.org)
Nothing on the site was changed other than the WP 3.7.1 update; This issue is cross-browser.
I’ve disabled all plugins and switched to a stock twenty twelve theme to no avail. I’ve clear cache and cookies on Chrome, Firefox, IE and Safari, all to no avail.
Apparently as part of the new update login.php is now issuing a test cookie that is not being properly read on the first pass. If you enter the username and password on the error page, the system will allow you to log on. Alas, most users won’t try a second time.
So, basically, this nifty new update has tanked my – and a great many other users – ability to have people log on to their WordPress sites.
Any ideas how to fix this?

In reply to: [Register Plus Redux] WordPress 3.6“Bump!” on that!
The “Google+”, “Twitter”, and “Facebook” fields have finally appeared, even though for some bewildering reason they left AIM, YIM, and Jabber there. (This of course means that I have to figure out a way to move that data out of meta-data and into core, but that’s a different story, and my problem not yours!)
Back to what we grateful users would like you to do is to ensure that Redux will allows us to record that data for our new signups!

In reply to: [Nice Login Widget] Additional Fields in Registration FormI too am using Register Plus Redux, and have one (relatively) simple request…
As it stand now, Nice Login displays the two default inputs, [username] and [email], followed by [sign up!] and then followed by any of Register Plus Redux’ required fields (e.g. password, First Name, Last Name, et. al.)
Is it at all possible to allow Register Plus Redux to insert it’s additional “required” fields before Nice Login displays the [sign up!] input box?

In reply to: [What The File] "What the file" does… nothing. Two weeks ago I went ahead and disabled everything. The site (at the time) was still running on twenty twelve, so that was easy.
No joy, the plugin still did exactly nothing. after that, getting a running site was more important than getting a convenience plugin working, so I pressed on with the real work.
Now, having a moment to breath, I’ve also gone ahead and reinstalled it this morning and tested it, even backing off my currently installed plugins and switching back to twenty twelve again. Nope.
Not working.
Ball. Your court.

In reply to: [Nice Login Widget] CSSStill struggling with this. I’m attempting to add this:
.sp-widget-login-div form p { margin-bottom: 1px; margin-bottom: 0.071428rem; }To the pw-login-widget.css file. However, when I do so, the effect do not work, they are lined out on Firefoxs display.
Secondly, I’m still unable to understand what the CSS Class name field is for. What does it do?
