Yes, it is the combination between PHP version and newest WordPress version.
What do you think is wrong within the PHP settings?
I run default PHP7.2

Uhm, speak about the execution time on the server?
It is NOT normal that the PHP execution time exceeds over 30 seconds.

Like i said, old version of WP works.

I set it upto 60 seconds, still the same problem. The plug-in is just loading, loading and loading.

I’ve tested an BLANCO installation with the plug-in (Easy WP SMTP) and encountered the same issue aswell.

Hello, i’ve updated all my plug-ins within WordPress.
The problem is that the PHP_EXECTION_TIME is running out and refers to a 404 page.
I’ve tested it with a older WordPress version and it is working perfectly.
