It would be easy to just delete the offending line of code if I could just see and edit the theme files I installed. I think you are right and all I can do is call hostgator and see what they can do. The files must be there somewhere!
I also can’t see my backup plugin (Updraftplus), so can’t just restore the themes files. In fact nothing that I have installed from the wordpress admin side show up in the file lists, though everything was working fine. The host is Hostgator.
