thanks for your reply!
If it would be too complicated to do the fractions with the start of shifts, maybe give the user the option to make custom start times, i.e. I could set start times to 0900, 1100 and 1230, regardless of the duration of the service. The availability would only be restricted by how many customers are allowed simultaneously.

I just updated to 4.4:
The error does not pop up any more and guests can now check out again, thank you!
The only issue still persisting is the custom fields disappearing when you check out as a guest. This happens regardless of “Force guest checkout”.
So with a mandatory custom field, guests can still not check out, but I can do a workaround for now and deactivate the custom fields.

When “Force guest checkout” is checked the error still pops up.
When “Force guest checkout” is not checked and I check the guest option the standard fields are visible but custom fields disappear.
All works fine still, when a user is logged in.

Sadly the issue still persists:
When “Force guest checkout” is checked and I click next step(before the fields should display), I get an “Error” popup.
When “Force guest checkout” is not checked and I check the guest option the fields still disappear.

Update:
This issue occurs when “Force guest checkout” is checked. It also occurs when “Force guest checkout” is not checked, but in the booking form the guest option is checked. If you check the guest option all fields will be invisible instantly.
So, on PC there is not everything fine. The booking fields only show, when I am logged in, so no guest booking is possible at the moment.
