This turned out to be an error caused by my hosting company, lcn.com. It appears they block Simple SSL from working as they sell their own SSL services. I had to ask them to be allowed to activate it, which I was only allowed to do as a “legacy” customer. Working fine now thanks.

This is all very odd because I have two websites hosted with the same provider, lcn.com
Both on WordPress, one had no problems and is running Really Simple SSL right now. However this other one just refuses to work.
I will look into your suggestion, but im afraid I am only an amateur.
I used the reset link a few times, and letsdebug has come back with “All OK”. Same issue occurring. Thanks for the assistance.
