Hi, Lyndon
I did some digging on this, and I was able to verify that the Widgets code typically just pulls the lists in the order of ID (which generally correlates to the order in which they were created), though that seems more like a rule of thumb than a concrete rule. We don’t do any particular sorting beyond that, and there’s unfortunately no configuration option for it due to the naturally limited nature of Widgets. Any special reordering of elements would need to be done using javascript on the site’s page, I’m afraid.
If it helps, each menu title has the attribute
data-yext-menu-id="[the menu id]", which might be of use when identifying and reordering the elements.Let me know if there’s anything else I can do to help.
Apologies for the inconvenience,
NikADDENDUM: As a potential alternative, you could try exporting the menu to a spreadsheet and importing it as a new menu, then deleting the original. This would give it a new id and change its position in the ordering. However, I expect this would be both tedious and error-prone, so I would generally recommend just using JS to swap the elements.

In reply to: [Yext Plugin] Pre Sale Questions Regarding Food Menus & WordPress MultisiteHi Lyndon,
I was able to spin up a multi-site instance locally and test the plugin against it. I made the following verifications:
1) I was able to install the Yext plugin through the “Network Admin” view, and activate it without issue. This caused it to be “Network Active” and available on each individual site.
2) Once I connected a Yext account to the plugin, the shortcodes for that account were usable on each individual site.
I do not believe it is possible to connect multiple Yext accounts at once, so I would expect that all relevant locations/menus will need to be in the same Yext account. The prior statement seems to be untrue, as each individual site prompted me to enter an account token for the plugin. However, to minimize the chance of confusion I would recommend keeping things on the same account.3) I was able to place a unique shortcode on each site’s homepage, and verified that the rendered pages correctly loaded unique menus.
4) I verified that there were no console errors caused on any of the rendered pages.
In short, it seems to work without any problems. If you do run into any issues, please let us know!

In reply to: [Yext Plugin] Pre Sale Questions Regarding Food Menus & WordPress MultisiteHello, Lyndon!
– Our plugin is fully compatible with menus; if you have created a Menu Widget in your Yext account, it should be usable out-of-the-box with the wordpress plugin.
– I’m afraid we have not explicitly tested our plugin against a Multi-Site installation. The plugin operates on a page-by-page basis, so in theory there would not be any issues, but I can’t say for sure. If you do encounter any issues with using the plugin on a multisite, please let us know and we can look into it ASAP.

In reply to: [Knowledge Tags from Yext Plugin] Knowledge Tags Not Found in YextHi Lee,
Knowledge Tags is a functional feature. This plugin will allow you to embed Hours of Operation directly on to your site. To enable Knowledge Tags you must have the Knowledge Tags Subscription package and assign the package to the locations you would want knowledge tags enabled. You can follow the instructions here to assign licenses to individual locations. https://help.yext.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000267563-Assign-Entity-Licenses There should be an option for knowledge tags, if you have it enabled. I hope this helps.
Feel free to reach out if you have any issues.
Thanks
