In reply to: [VS Event List] Conflict with my website theme – backgrounds removedThank you for your assistance Guido. Who would have thought it would be my monitor misrepresenting my page!! That was a real gotcha.
I am very happy with VSEL – it does a fantastic job. I highly recommend it.
Thanks Guido.

In reply to: [VS Event List] Conflict with my website theme – backgrounds removedHi Guido,
(Guido) You mention for example page “About”. It looks the same at desktop and on my iPhone: 4 text/image blocks with a white background behind it.
(Miri) Look closer at your ipad – the text boxes have pale grey shading. On the desktop the grey shading is missing, it is just an all white background(Guido) The ones you mention has background decorations/shading is “Angela Fabian Band”. The same applies to the other sub-pages listed underneath “Bands”.
(Miri) Yes, on the ipad all the bands pages have soft peach decorations. But look on the Desktop – it is just all white background – the shadings are missing.I have no website for the purpose you suggest. How about this: instead https://www.facebook.com/miriussher/.

In reply to: [VS Event List] Conflict with my website theme – backgrounds removedThank you for replying Guido.
I will continue to investigate.
Could you please keep my ticket open and investigate further also. I will update you with my findings. This is the code I implemented on my website to display the upcoming events including the day I posted the code: [vsel]
Here are some more facts:
0. I installed [vsel] into a text box on page via Thive architect
1. I did not install any other Event plugins before VSEL. Raygrech.com is a brand new site.
2. I installed VSEL on a test site prior to installing on Raygrech.com and it had done the same thing – removed all the background decorations/shading on all pages in Desktop view only. View the URL for raygrech.com in ipad or mobile phone and then on a Desktop on the following pages to see for your self.
>about
>bands>Angela Fabian
>gigs>upcoming events>view events
3. Confimrmed that the missing shadings/decorations were not caused by updates to Thrive Architect theme builder. Raygrech.com was updated (vs 2.5.8.2) and the test site (heartrageousmedia.com) was not updated(vs 2.5.6.1). Both sites have had the shading knocked out. I just didn’t notice before I installed VSEL onto Raygrech.com.
Both sites using WP vs 5.5.I really appreciate your help.
I can give you access to the test site to look around in if you like.Miri
