Do not use popup.”
If it is checked video will open right on the page. Uncheck it. This option is global for all videos.
If you want different settings for each video use inline=true/false in shortcode. inline=false will use a popup for video.Forum: Plugins

There is a field in settings “Play Image URL”, this image is placed over the center of the thumbnail.

По поводу неправильности работы, нужно смотреть кодировку файлов и вашего сайта. В файлах плагина стоит кодировка UTF-8. Попробуйте в браузере задать кодировку принудительно в UTF-8.

I added option in menu to use inline code. If you want to change the look of the player use CSS, div classes are described on plugin page.I’ll think about buddypress support, but I never had experience in making budypress plugins.
