in the mean time, I tried again to set up a single bitnami cloud site and convert it again to multisite
I followed all the steps to the teeth and it still won’t work.

it’s trying to pull from 127.0.0.1. the site kind of works but 1buy.co/wp-admin doesn’t
the only reference I can find to this is that my ftp_host in my wp-config.php file has this address 127.0.0.1.
once again fresh installs just not working on multi-site very frustrating
