In reply to: [WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway] Updates not detected since 10.7.0I will just confirm as a completely different user with my own sites, not a single one of my client sites was offering anything newer than 10.7.0 today either. Different servers, etc. I downloaded the plugin manually from here and applied it using the Plugins > Add New > Upload plugin functionality.
All sites were stuck on 10.7.0. “Check again” didn’t surface the update.
Is this response written by AI? I apologise if you’re a real person but I’m afraid the style sounds very much like AI, and matches AI’s tendency to be very confident about something but then change completely when (correctly) challenged. I would also caution against advising users to provide a system status report on Pastebin, as it contains lots of detailed information that’s likely irrelevant to the problem but useful to attackers. I won’t be providing mine, I’m afraid.

In reply to: [Redis Object Cache] New admin colour in WordPress 7Of course. 🙂
When I select one of the other colour schemes, so the link and button colours change, the chart still matches the 7.0 default:

In reply to: [Redis Object Cache] New admin colour in WordPress 7Thank you very much for your attention to this. Yes, it’s now updated in the new blue but it doesn’t follow the theme colour, so it stays in the 7.0 blue even with other colour schemes enabled under “Profile”. That will of course satisfy 99% of users who use the default, but if it is possible to make it follow the link or accent colour of the profile scheme (colour schemes are a current feature, not new to 7.0) then that would be even better. 🙂

In reply to: [Redis Object Cache] New admin colour in WordPress 7Thank you!
I fed this back to another plugin author too, and it turned out they were already making a patch. They were cleverly going with making their chart match whatever the user’s primary theme colour is. That would be an ideal way of doing it. 🙂Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Statify] New blue colour in WordPress 7Nice – and looks like you’ve done it in a generalised way which is ideal!
That appears have sorted the console errors out. Thank you!
Thank you very much. Installing and activating this plugin instead of the usual one seems to do the trick. I have manually changed its version to 7.999.10 instead of 7.0.10 so that it doesn’t trigger the auto-update to 7.1.
Please let us know when we can revert to the standard plugin in due course.
Hi … I realise it’s been Christmas and all, but is there any progress on this update?
It may well do, if the issue is definitely not present, as it may trigger Wordfence to re-evaluate it. But it comes with risks, because if the new version isn’t judged by them to solve the issue, clients might all get another round of warnings? I’m sure the Wordfence team will advise. 🙂
I hope they will, because the problem doesn’t just occur once. Emails keep being sent and warnings keep being flagged by Wordfence until they judge it to have been fixed (or until the user manually clicks “Ignore”, which many will not be willing to do).
I emailed [email protected] with the details of this issue just now, and last time I did similar they did respond helpfully. I do think it may be helpful also coming from the developer directly.
Emre, I’m sorry to say this is still a problem for you. Yes, we know the report says “Premium”. But Wordfence is still flagging this up on every site that has the free version 1.4.3. Wordfence may be wrong, but it’s still a problem because every one of your Free customers with Wordfence is receiving critical problem emails every day. You may need to liaise with them to get the errant message fixed. I will also send them a message, but it may be better coming from the plugin’s official developer. Sorry!
And although it only speaks of the Premium version, it’s being flagged on the free version as well, with no patched update that I can see yet. Fortunately the severity is only 3.5/10 as it requires the attacker already to have access to an account on your site. But I will be keen to know when the patch is available.
Thank you!
Delighted to confirm this solved the problem. Thank you!
