Hello, I’ve tried to bulk trasform all “authors” to simple “subscribers” which have not the ability to create posts and nothing changed.
That page still loading all 70000 users although now they are only subcribers…
I don’t know how to deal with this…

I’m running a wordpress site which have users previously imported from a vbulletin forum site.
All users have been imported as “contributors” though only a small part of them are real authors ( have already written at least a post).
But, in theory, they should have the ability to create a new post and manage it if they want.
Do you have any advice on how manage this issue as workaround meanwhile a solution is found?
