Two problems:
1) parse error: wp-content/plugins/bbpress-new-topic-notifications/bbpress-topic-notifications.php on line 222 —- missing end of parenthesis of if statement
2) Options form under admin no longer works — i.e., I don’t see this: http://ww.wp.xz.cn/extend/plugins/bbpress-new-topic-notifications/screenshots/

In the mean time, I actually installed the reCaptcha for bbPress plugin and that seems to have gotten rid of the spam getting through Akismet (unsurprisingly). I’ll update this module hopefully over the weekend and let you know if anything goes wrong.
