Theme and Version: Custom developed themeI noticed that when clicking “Update” nothing happens, there is no network activity in the dev tools and no javascript errors showing in devtools console. To me, it’s almost like javascript from the Events plugin is hijacking the submit event and stopping it from running completely. My hunch is it is related to field validation on the location venue still.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Event Calendar – Won’t update new dateI am having the same problem. After you add a new event, there’s a bug in the “Location” “Venue” field. In order to save updates, you must first click the X to remove the event’s location venue. Hopefully the plugin authors will fix this bug.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Events cannot be updatedI’m also having the same problem. I’ve narrowed it down to the “Location”. If you detach the location (so there is no location set) it will let you update the event to save changes.
Hopefully this gives some clues to help provide a fix.
FYI: related specifically to “Track outbound clicks and download links?” setting. When set to “NO” it works.
