In reply to: PDF thumbnail generated as all blackI have this same exact issue, and know that it began after 11/30/21 and before 12/23/21. Before and after. The thumbnails mirror exactly as they appear when opened full-size in the “Edit Media” window (i.e. the larger version is also corrupt) but the PDF itself when opened directly is fine.
The PDF is plain text, generated within NeoOffice Mac, the only wrench being an emoji used liberally throughout.
There are plugins that used to allow re-generation of PDF thumbs but they haven’t been updated in 5+ years. There are threads like this one and this one that claim GS Only PDF Preview still works and solved this problem.
THANK YOU for a simple plug-in that solves a whole heap of security issues.
I am just looking for a little clarity. Even after the update two weeks ago, if I make the alterations you describe above will I stop getting “cannot verify identity” warnings on all but the main site? I have one cert and a server with a dedicated IP.
