Basically the same here. Updated plugin and WordPress throws an critical error (without any additional details being displayed).

I think you misunderstood the issue …
This is how it Looks on my Homepage http://meringer.de/downloads/Homepage.png,
but there are no items shown in the backend http://meringer.de/downloads/Backend.png.
Adding a new item removes the existing ones.
Are you saying that this is by design?
