Seth – yes, thank you for developing the plugin. I have been using it since I made this post. I just want comments turned off for pages, so they look more like webpages, not blog posts. Works great!

Ok, I think I found a way around it with this plug-in: http://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/no-page-comment/

But still…someone please tell me if there is a way to do this without having to resort to plug-ins? Like, am I missing a setting somewhere? Is there a way to just disable comments on pages?
