I reached out to the BizPrint developer and shared your response. Below is their feedback—feels like I’m playing monkey in the middle here! Haha. Thanks again for your help.
“Thanks for sharing the developer’s response. Based on their explanation, selecting “Pending Payment” for automatic printing should trigger a print. If this is the selection you’ve made but the print isn’t being generated, it’s likely that their code is interfering with how the order status is processed.”I’d suggest asking them to review why the automatic print trigger isn’t working if their plugin truly doesn’t interfere with order status. Automatic printing works with other gateways using “Pending Payment,” so there may be an unexpected interaction happening.”
Hey @pinalshah ,
Thanks for getting back to me! I just wanted to take a moment to say that this is a fantastic plugin, and I really appreciate all the work you’ve put into developing it!
I’m currently trying to set up automatic printing when a quote comes in as “pending payment” so that the staff is notified. The printing works perfectly when the invoice is paid and marked as “processing,” but it doesn’t seem to trigger when the quote first comes in as “draft” or “pending payment.” Do you have any insights on how to resolve this?
Additionally, is there a way to require a deposit from users—such as having them pay 50% of the estimated amount before receiving the final quote? Or even an option where they pay the full amount upfront, and later the final charge is adjusted accordingly? Alternatively, would it be possible to place a hold (authorization) on their card rather than charging immediately?
Thanks again for all your help!
