    Dear Evan,

“Did you remove the default excerpts from the announcement containers”
Sorry, I’m not a programming or WP pro so I don’t even know what this terminology means. I have simply followed the tutorial and then moved all text/links that I previously put into the text field of each announcement (and which was properly displayed before the update of the plugin) to the new metabox that appeared.

As I said, before I fixed the HTML issue, each container already contained the Author/Date signature. So I this flaw was already there before. Where does the site pull this information from? I couldn’t even find a field in the Timeline express announcement box where ‘author’ is stated.

Can you elaborate a bit more on what I should check now?

    Dear Evan

Thanks so much for the rapid reply. The issue is almost solved, the tutorial you provided behind the links solved the HTML issue and the spacing problem for me. However, what remains is that each announcements container now shows triple entries:
    – the first showing the content that I put into new metabox with the correct header information (in my case a year)
    – the second entry also starts with the header, then the date, and the author
    – the third entry repeats the details of the second but it is formatted differently.
Please check my site again, you will see what I mean. Any idea?
    Cheers

    Update:

I have managed to get the Plugin back to display by making a child of my current theme and enabling this child-theme. However, the plugin still displays awkwardly:
    – there are no linebreaks anymore in the annoucements
    – no links anymore in the announcements
    – the difference between bold and regular text is gone

Also, at the bottom of each announcment, the title (in my case the year) is duplicated and the author as well as the date is displayed.

Bottom line is: there is something fundamentally wrong now with how the plugin is displayed and a swift fix is much appreciated.

    Thanks.
