Hi,
I have exactly the same problem – cant´acess my site anymore.(enabled https for complete site) Even undoing the change within the plugin settings would not work (I was still logged in the Settings area of the Plugin) because on saving the “undoing” I received the SSL connection error as well.
(Errorrcode: ssl_error_rx_record_too_long)
Please help – site ist now totally unavailable for me and others!
