Ah-Ha – this might help others. Don’t activate this in the Multisite dashboard, just load it there and then activate it from the individual site you want to use it in.

Yes – that’s it exactly. I thought in the last version of wp it was always there (even when not logged in). This is what I want.
I’m inexperienced at plugins so when I tried pasting the code into file and uploaded it to /plugins, nothing showed up on the list of plugins from the dashboard.
Can I download this plugin?
I’ve tried installing the Admin Bar enhancer, but it only shows when logged in.
Any “How-to” direction would be appreciated.
