Thank you very much Jeremy, i love the (without) jet pack carousel, it plays nice with the default WordPress gallery’s.

When i change the height in firebug from 764 it works on desktops but i don’t know how how to write this change in custom css.. 🙁I have the same question but if i center there is a lot off space between the image and the description text, i made it smaller by adding
.jp-carousel-info {margin-top: -40px !important;}
But that doesn’t work the same in every browser and does not work mobile..
