    last stuff
    i found that i had an old typical (categories) wordpress test menu from priors tests (and so from before plugin activation)

    i’ve deleted it

    no need of activities now : no crash at all

    but i did not solved the actual functionnality i seeked :
    delete the notifications item in the typical bp vertical menu

    pro plugin ?

    i have a little bit more info

    i use a plugin called “social articles” for frontend posting, which add its own menu in bp profile menu

    my test

    wp+bp with no activity (bp settings item 5)
    -> crash
    wp+bp with activity (bp settings item 5)
    -> no crash
    (depends not of bp members line 148 which i uncommented so standard bp)

    wp+bp+your plugin+social articles + activities
    -> no crash
    wp+bp+your plugin+social articles + no activities
    -> all crash
    wp+bp+your plugin+social articles + no activities + commented line 148
    -> partial crash : the new zones of social articles crashed (i did not look to debug it yet) but the rest of the website works

    i’ve deactivated all of my plugin except buddypress
    i’ve temporary disabled child theme functions.php

    i still got the bug when activating the plugin

    but

    when i am commenting the crash line
    Fatal error: Call to undefined function bp_get_activity_slug() in /home/guiddlecfl/www/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-members/bp-members-loader.php on line 148

    the plugin did activate

    ps : i do not use all of buddypress functions
    – connection between friends (item 3)
    – all the activities (item 5)
    – group of users (item 7)
    – tracing of the blog (item 8)
    are unactive in my buddypress settings
    (sorry for the approx translation but i use the french version)

    i will try do disable plugins
    for the wordpress version i got the last one
