We ask you to make sure to be on the latest plugin version. If you want the plugin to calculate taxes in NJ you will want to set that state and city and zip as your Base Location in WooCommerce. If you want more than one state then you can add those states in your TaxJar account.
If you have done this you can also try clearing your transients and any old cached tax rates under the WooCommerce->System Status menu and then click the Tools tab to find the delete transient and rates options.

The TaxJar sales tax plugin hasn’t been tested to worked with the multi vendor setup. The plugin is setup to use a single business nexus rules configuration. The SmartCalcs API (http://developers.taxjar.com/api/) does support a multi-vendor setup if you wanted to investigate using that with your multi-vendor setup.

The best way to get individual answers for TaxJar is by emailing [email protected]
When you first install the TaxJar extension make sure to set your Base Location under the WooCommerce->Settings->General tab. This will be your default state where taxes would be calculated for. You can then add more states if you need more than one state to calculate taxes through your TaxJar account.

The plugin has been updated to now support multiple states of sales tax. You can add your additional state nexus requirements inside the TaxJar application. Thanks.
Ok just found the solution to the og:image problem for static home page based on this thread about it missing on pages without attachments. I had to download the latest development version which was about an hour or two after the last time I download it.
Also this version of the plugin also resolved the meta description missing.
So I guess ignore this post other than that you need to release a new plugin version to fix these problems for the people who don’t know to download a development branch.
