I agree with you and I’m astonished about the fact, that the Weaver theme loads 130 Fonts. I think, I will have to investigate the reason for that. Maybe is has some settings for customization.
Thank you very much for your findings!
Hi Daan, thank you for your investigations.
I never cared much about fonts and so I wasn’t aware what the Weaver Theme does with fonts. But I just read in the theme’s support forum, that all fonts are hosted locally since about 2 years (was different before). So, you are right with your assumption.I followed your suggestion and emptied the OMGF cache, clicked Save&Optimize and received the message “Optimization seems to be failing”. As you expected.
So – what does that mean? If I understood everything right, then there is no need for me to use the OMGF plugin, right?
Thank you for answering.
I have no idea why all these fonts are loaded. But I know, that I’m not using any caching plugin.
In the meantime I provided the url of my site using the contact form.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Calculated Fields Form] Modified field width in version 5.4.6.7 ?Thank you for the additional advice. I have now removed the css rule completely and it looks much better.
Thank you and best regards,

In reply to: [Calculated Fields Form] Modified field width in version 5.4.6.7 ?I have now changed my custom styling for the “large” size of a field to 85% (from 80% before).
That looks okay now.I’m just a bit worried, if there might be some more things to do, which I didn’t notice up to now. I have nearly 40 lines of custom style settings and I do not remember the reason of each individual setting.
However – thank you very much for your effort. I consider this as solved.

In reply to: [Calculated Fields Form] Modified field width in version 5.4.6.7 ?Thank you for your suggestion. And I’m sorry that I forgot to mention my custom stylings.
I forgot them, because I did this several years ago and never had to touch them again.
But that also means, my custom stylings cannot be the reason why the fields are now smaller than in previous versions of CFF. There must have been a modification in one of the plugin versions. Maybe is was not the latest version which caused the problem. Maybe I just didn’t notice it in earlier versions. However – if your final suggestion is to adjust my custom styling, I can do this.

For testing you could enter a 6-digit number in the first empty input field and then leave the field. It will not show the complete content.@arnaudbroes Okay, now I understand. Thank you for your investigation and explanation.
Maybe you should consider to modify the text for this first check of the checklist. From my point of view it would be okay, if you just omit the first sentence.
@arnaudbroes : I’m talking the SEO Checklist and the list of tasks which have been completed. This list doesn’t have any “Dismiss” action links.
@arnaudbroes : The option blog_public has a value of 1. As far as I understand this is the default value and has the meaning of: “blog is visible to everyone, including search engines (such as Google).”
@arnaudbroes :
No, the setting “Discourage search engines from indexing this site” is not enabled.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Decent Comments] Comment layout completely changed after 3.0.0 update@kento: I think we fundamentally have different views on what constitutes a good plugin. This applies to all associated aspects, such as development, management, communication, documentation, support, and so on.
At present, all of this no longer seems to be working with Decent Comments, and I will therefore have little choice but to continue using the old version for the time being while looking for an alternative.
This is disappointing, but probably unavoidable.
Good bye.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Decent Comments] Comment layout completely changed after 3.0.0 update@kento: Maybe for you it’s hard to imagine, but some of your plugin users are not programmers. They don’t understand anything about html, sql, php or css.
So the reason why they are using wordpress and all the useful plugins is, that normally they don’t need to know anything about programming.
So the suggestion of using a github file difference in order to find out how a plugin could be customized seems to be weird idea. For my above mentioned layout problem I think there are mainly two items to solve:
* The elements of Decent Comments (like author, date/time, post-title) should appear on one line only (instead of on different rows).
* There should be no extra backgroundcolor for the comment exerpts.I think for you as an expert (and beeing involved in the development) it should be an easy job to provide a few css-rules (or something similar) which are able to achieve a layout as we were used to from the previous version.
Dependend on how the solution looks like, it might be necessary to give a hint, where the modifications should be applied.Thank you for your support.

In reply to: [Decent Comments] Comment layout completely changed after 3.0.0 updateThank you for answering.
However – your answer doesn’t help me. I have absolutely no idea, what to do to adapt the layout? I also don’t know, what has been modified from version 2.0.0 to version 3.0.0 ?
I’m sorry, but I need more detailed explanations.Thank you for your advise. I have deleted all entries in the above mentioned tables with dates before 2025 manually by SQL commands without any problems.
As it seems to be a very simple job, you should really consider to provide a function somewhere in the dashboard of the plugin.
