Thanks for the detailed reply. Just to give some positive feedback as well, my client really likes using the plugin. He likely will be getting the pro version as his events grow.
One question: “Since you also have a redirect of
/events→/upcoming-events/” I have not setup any type of redirect myself.I did setup an Upcoming Events page AFTER I had these issues because I thought if I couldn’t find a solution to the ‘soft 404’ you mention, I’d use a page with the widgets on it instead.
I am using Rank Math, so I will try that step of disabling it as well.
There’s a few steps to work my way through and I won’t get to it today, but I will update this post with what worked if I can sort it out.

I’d love to know this as well. I have it running on an older site, but seeing how inactive it is I removed it to be safe.
@mastehin ya my client has been editing the popups with Elementor for a year at this point. I have seen the popups they setup in the editor. It only stopped working with the last update. I didn’t even really know what to say to that reply of thiers based on that. So thanks for adding the video.
I am having issues as well, and came here to see if anything had been posted. A 404 error is occurring when trying to edit in Elementor. Elementor is having no issues loading elsewhere on the site.
Is that code added to the functions file? There’s not much instruction there where/how the code is actually used. Thanks!

An update! I see the way to do this adding fields to the CPT rather than the auto template setup I did. And using this method, of course I can see how to setup the value separation. Thanks!

When you sat field advanced options, could you give me a bit more detail or a link to a help doc? My auto template just has lines for each taxonomy EG @specialty.name . So where is any setting related to value separation? In my template, taxomony settings, ctp settings? Thanks!
Great that you guys are so dismissive of long term users bringing up a completely valid issue. being told your opinion is worthless and to go use something else makes it much easier to make a decision to find alternative options.

it’s not, I have the same issue using stock themes as well as my regular theme. It’s not been working properly since the Elementor update. Issues occurring with OceanWP and Twenty Seventeen.
David, you are 100% correct on this. Adding a new method to edit is great, but taking away the established method completely is just a really bad move. They should both be available.
