Alexandre, thanks for the reply.
I’ve worked with Marcel at FIFU to solve the issue. He did discover an issue in the code of the plugin. I’m usure if this is because I prevously had the free version of MPT and then move to Premium. Here is what he had me edit in the plugin’s code:
- Edit magic-post-thumbnail-premium/admin/class-magic-post-thumbnail-generation.php
- Replace all occurrences of
'featured-image-from-url/featured-image-from-url.php'with'fifu-premium/fifu-premium.php' - Save
I created several new test posts, ran a new post test on posts created within 1 day and it seemed that Cron was working as expected on those new posts.

I’ve been working with the team at FIFU and copied there comment below. Any chance of some support please?
“Compatibility with FIFU: So if you already have the option enabled and MPT still insists on saving the images in the media library, I recommend you contact the developer first, since it’s implemented on MPT’s side. It’s MPT that decides whether to save an image in the media library or not. If they need any assistance, you can ask them to contact me via email.“

Following up if you have reviewed my support request as its been a month.
- Is there a known issue where MPT’s Bulk/Cron paths skip the FIFU bridge and always attach locally?
- Is there a setting, filter, or hook to force URL mode so MPT writes
fifu_image_urlinstead of creating attachments? - Where can I enable logging to confirm whether the FIFU bridge is invoked? (Happy to share logs/screenshots.)

Edit:
I’ve changed the site title in Settings > General > Site Title to “Orlando Graphic Design, Web Design, Branding, Advertising”
and using the Snippet Editor in my home page and changing the actual SEO Title in the home page to %%sitename%%
Hopefully this will yield a better result when Google re-indexes my site.

Thought updating to 2.10.2 would solve the issue but now not sure based on your post.
