In reply to: [Transcend] Change image size on blog posts on home pageSorry to open this up again. Let me explain more clearly because I still can’t fix it and it’s frustrating. but I know you’re trying to help which I appreciate.
On the home page of my website, I show a list of blog posts.
https://www.maywoodhillspta.com/Scroll down a bit and find the “La Posada” post. You can see the featured photo there.
When you click on that blog post, you can see the actual photo in the post. It’s larger and not squished and higher quality.
I’m not sure why it’s showing up differently on the front page vs. the actual post page. I’m just setting a “featured image” and I tried to use the right file size and aspect ratio.
It’s the same for all the other posts.
I created an image to show you what I mean.

In reply to: [Transcend] Change image size on blog posts on home pageSorry, it’s still not working. On the home page, they pictures for the blog posts are either smushed or stretched depending on the size of the window. On my phone, they are smushed, and on my PC with a normal size window they are stretched width wise. Is there a way to make them a static size so they don’t change based on the window size? This is right on the front page of the site and I’ve already gotten a few emails about it 🙁

In reply to: [Transcend] Change image size on blog posts on home pageHi, it looks like I need a little more help. The code changed the image height on the home page. But now I can’t figure out what size the images should be so they aren’t compressed. I’ve tried a few different sizes. They look fine on the individual post page. But then they get squished on the posts part of “Home”. I’m tried a few aspect ratios that seem like they should work. But they get distorted on the home page.
What dimensions would you recommend to upload the images so they look good on the home page and post page?
Thanks,
Tom
