Hey Design, you’ve made over 900 thoughtful, polite, professional replies in the last several weeks. How? Are you human or AI? Simply awesome! Maybe I’ll try Gutenberg on a new site that doesn’t have as many legacy dependencies. Thanks!

@designsimply, thanks for being willing to listen to our plight!

I, like so many others, have lots of sites with various plugins, custom widgets and premium themes. In one particular case, The Divi theme from Elegant Themes would not allow any posts to be created and edited. This was caused, as mentioned in a support question, by the Gutenberg editor not having the depth and breadth of testing with all the themes and plugins.

As a result I had to revert back to the working classic editor and the deadlines of my customer’s writers were saved. Could have been catastrophic had no reversion been available.

From the 1000 other 1 star reviews is seems that the decisive majority agrees that this “feature” is not ready and not welcome; especially in a forced acceptance scenario by including it as a core component.

Hopefully, you will understand my frustration and understand why so many are caught off guard and angry with a feature not ready for prime time.

@designsimply, Who are you exactly and in what capacity do you serve the project? I would be happy to direct my comments to someone that could legitimately act upon them.

I’ve check out Tom’s page and it looks fine from MACs/PCs using Safari, Firefox, ie and Chrome. What changed?
